GET TO KNOW ME

When I first heard someone describe research as "me-search," I felt seen--I recognized how my professional interests overlapped with my personal interests and experiences, and therapy is no different. As a human in the world, I have experienced trauma, relationship difficulties, mood dysregulation, and have just generally struggled with the day-to-day on occasion. So much of this difficulty is normal human experience, and so much of it is certainly normal human experience under oppressive systems like patriarchal white supremacy.

I know how it feels to be offered both space to explore and a person to join in on the mess with me, helping me gain clarity and offering valuable resources to improve my well-being. I hope and strive to offer that space to my clients so that they, too, can live the life that most fosters their joy and serenity.
